Every Pug Has a Story

At Tiny Paws Pug Rescue, our mission is built on the belief that every life matters. Behind every intake number is a beloved face, a second chance, and a heartfelt commitment to provide safety, care, and a forever home.

Tracking Impact, Not Just Numbers

We track every intake, adoption, medical treatment, and life saved—because transparency builds trust, and trust powers change. Our rescue statistics are updated regularly to reflect the full scope of our work and the lives touched.

As a proud participant in national data-sharing initiatives for animal welfare, we submit statistics that reflect not only our rescue outcomes but our ongoing commitment to ethical practices and responsible decision-making.

Why We Don’t Use “No Kill” Labels

While our outcomes consistently align with what many call 'no-kill' shelters, we choose a different path in how we describe our work. Labels like 'no-kill' can oversimplify complex, humane decisions—and sometimes create division in a field where unity is needed most. At Tiny Paws Pug Rescue, we don’t believe in setting arbitrary timelines. No Pug is ever euthanized due to space limitations or length of stay.

Our Euthanasia Policy

On the rare occasion where euthanasia is considered, it is never taken lightly. This decision is made only when an animal’s quality of life is compromised beyond recovery—such as severe, unmanageable medical pain or unsafe behavioral conditions.

We ensure that:

  • Every case is reviewed individually
  • All medical and behavioral options are exhausted
  • Humane protocols are followed in every circumstance
  • No animal is ever euthanized due to age, breed, length of stay, or space

What These Numbers Really Mean

Our statistics are more than numbers—they represent:

  • Families reunited
  • Second chances granted
  • Happy tails heading home
  • Communities growing stronger
