Adoption process

01

Complete and submit an adoption application. There is a $25.00 fee. You will be contacted by a team member for an interview to determine what dog would do best in your environment considering your home, children, adults, and other pets.

02

Once approved, we might connect you with the dog you applied for or another we have that meets your needs. Please note that the dog you apply for may not be available by the time you finish the interview process. We suggest you follow us on social media to stay up-to-date on incoming and available dogs.

03

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, you can take your new pug home! We will send a link to pay the adoption fee, and you will receive medical records and instructions on how to update the microchip registration. Out of state? Your meet and greet will be virtual, and you are required to come to Northern California to pick up your new dog.

Adoption FAQs

Dog prices vary and range from $300-$1200. Please inquire about the dog you are interested in adopting for a more specific number. Pricing may vary due to the individual dog’s needs upon arrival to us, their age, and their breed (French Bulldogs are $1,000+ typically).

Your dog will come spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, unless they are a puppy. All of our dogs see a veterinarian to receive a wellness visit.

Puppies are available for adoption after receiving their second round of puppy vaccines. All puppies are microchipped and a spay/neuter agreement will be required at the time of adoption. We reimburse $150 once you get the puppy spayed/neutered when they're old enough.

If your circumstance no longer allows for you to care for your adopted TPPR dog, we will take back the dog. Your adoption contract requires that you do not sell, trade, or rehome this animal. Refunds are issued on a case by case basis.
